Nursery
Nursery is for children ages birth-2 years old. Our nursery program is usually led by education professionals, and includes free play, music, and Bible stories.
Little Lambs
Little Lambs is our Pre-K program, for children aged 3 through preschool. During Little Lambs, children engage with a hands-on Bible Lesson, music, and free play.
Covenant kids
Elementary-aged students begin worship in the sanctuary at the 10:30 service and are dismissed after the opening songs and prayer to the Lower Level for large group worship and teaching, and then small group reflection and age-appropriate activities in separate rooms. During the school year, small groups are divided into K-1st; 2nd-3rd; and 4th and 5th.

Child dedication
Some parents, who personally emphasize believer baptism, will choose to publicly accept their responsibility of nurturing their child into the love and grace of God. Our child dedication liturgy is rooted in the biblical celebration of the blessing of life and birth, in Jesus blessing the little children as the sign of the kingdom of God (Mark 10:13-16), and in the message of God’s saving work through Christ for all, including children.
baptism
In the Evangelical Covenant Church, we practice both historic modes of Christian baptism: believer baptism and infant baptism. Each family chooses how they will participate in the sacrament based on their own faith background and theological convictions. Families are invited to pray and discern with a pastor to determine which mode of baptism they will emphasize in their household.
communion
We offer Communion on the first Sunday of every month. We practice open communion and believe any follower of Jesus is welcome to the table of our Lord. Children who have made a declaration of faith in Jesus are invited to participate, though we encourage parents and guardians to decide when their children are ready.

confirmation
This two year program is for all 7th and 8th grade students. Led by Pastor Lars, the goal of Confirmation is to present an overview of the Bible and church beliefs while offering participants the opportunity to make or strengthen their personal commitment to follow Christ. The class is taught during the school year typically on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.
Your first visit
Prior to your first visit, please complete the Children's Ministry Registration and Consent form. Only one form per family is needed and it needs to be submitted each year.
