Established in 1885, we are a community of ordinary people experiencing the extraordinary, life-changing love of Jesus Christ. Revived by faith, renewed by hope, & restored by love, it's our purpose to:
Bring people to Jesus and membership in his family;
Love and nurture each other to Christlike maturity; and
Equip each individual for service in our church, our community and the world that we may joyfully bring honor and glory to God.

The mission of The Evangelical Covenant Church of Hinsdale is to glorify God through worship, to lead persons into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, to unite Christians in fellowship for spiritual development, to make known the gospel of Jesus Christ, to equip its members to serve Christ and their neighbors in daily living, and to pursue the mission of The Church in the world.
Rally Sunday at The ECCH is right around the corner!
Don't miss this exciting opportunity to come together with old and new friends! There will be one worship service only at 10:00 a.m. in the church community room. Our special guest speaker will be Lon Allison, Executive Director of the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College, ordained Covenant Pastor, teacher, author, mountain climber, husband and father of three adult children.
Following the worship service, brunch will be served -
all are welcome and encouraged to stay!
Introducing a monthly program and luncheon for senior adults! The 2nd Tuesday of every month, September-June, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at church.
The first "Lunch Special" will be September 14, 2010 with entertainment by the barbershop quartet "Four Old Parts" and lunch from Brown's Chicken.
RSVP by September 7th by calling 630-323-2318, and paying $6 per person, checks payable to ECCH. A freewill offering will be taken for the entertainment.

All men are invited to a morning of good food, fellowship and a talk by Llewellyn Crewe-Brown.
Llewellyn Crewe-Brown is a retired South African diplomat. After serving in various roles in Pretoria, Canada, Brazil, and Spain, he was appointed as Head of Protocol in Pretoria. He was subsequently appointed Ambassador to Malawi serving both the de Klerk government and the Mandela government. Llewellyn will give a short historical introduction to South Africa and then talk about the before and after period of the de Klerk government, and time permitting a perspective on the recent soccer world cup. After retirement from the foreign office, Llewellyn managed an antique shop as collecting antique furniture and silver is his hobby. Llewellyn and his wife Nellien have been very active in the Dutch Reformed Church where he now serves as a verger after his second retirement. As a committed Christian, Llewellyn will include in his talk the influence Christianity has had on the history of his country. Llewellyn and Nellien now reside in Pretoria and their three children and six grandchildren live in Pretoria, the Eastern Cape and Cape Town.
